Field Machining – When the Workpiece Cannot Be Moved
The MeteCNC® PRM-2900 solves the problem of workpieces that are too large or difficult to transport.
Instead of moving the workpiece, the MeteCNC® PRM-2900 is brought directly to the site to carry out on-site machining. This reduces logistics costs and enables precision machining of demanding metal structures without compromises.
In theory, the machine can even be transported and used outdoors, as long as the base surface is stable enough.
Remote Control Improves Safety
The machine’s wireless remote controller allows the operator to stay safely away from the machine, while still close to the machining process.
The lightweight interface travels with the user, making it possible to supervise machining up close, verify quality, and issue commands easily via the touchscreen – all in a safe and ergonomic way.
