Metecno Oy Summer Party 2022

Metecno Oy’s staff celebrated the company’s annual summer day in Hämeenkyrö National Landscape on the last Friday of August. The summer weather favored us throughout the event and there was not a word about projects.

From the staff’s point of view, a paid recreation day is always an enjoyable event and, as in the past, the main benefit of the event was a complete break from work.

After morning coffee, we launched our own, playful Mete Olympics. The events included a wide range of Olympic sports, such as javelin throwing, as well as what might one day count as such, such as the speed trial of a garden tractor attached to a trailer.

In between games, we fortified our bodies with food and refreshments, and the caterer provided a five-star dinner after the contest was over. The Mete gold was once again taken by the production supervisor, pictured here with a stylistic example of a winning javelin throw.

We are now looking forward to upcoming challenges – happy autumn to all!
